Near Mkuze in KwaZulu-Natal; about 500 km east of Johannesburg (~5 hours) and 300 km north of Durban (~3 hours). From Johannesburg: N4/N12 towards Witbank/Middelburg → N11 to Hendrina and Ermelo → N2 via Piet Retief, Pongola to Mkuze. At Mkuze turn left off the N2, continue past town to a T-junction, turn left; hotel is ~400 m on the right. From Durban: N2 North via Stanger, Empangeni, Mtubatuba, Hluhluwe to Mkuze. Ignore the first brown “MKUZE” sign (to Mkhuze Game Reserve); use the large green sign ~15 km further north.
