Sempurna Estate offers self-catering accommodation on a 458-hectare working fruit and wine grape farm and provincial heritage site in the McGregor Vrolijkheid Conservancy in South Africa's Little Karoo.

Accommodation

Three Santai Suites in a renovated 1860s barn each have a lounge with kitchenette, king-size bed, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom and private patio with Weber braai. The 2-bedroom Kecil Cottage includes a king-size bed and two single beds. Two combinable Hillside Cottages feature queen bedrooms and open-plan living.

Facilities

A 25m indoor swimming pool heated in winter, a dam for paddling, fishing and swimming, and a gym are available. Guests can access elevated bush braai sites, a hilltop bench with view, farm walking trails, and an 11 km mountain bike and trail running route.

Location & Surroundings

The estate lies 1 km from McGregor in the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains and 15 km from Robertson. McGregor features heritage buildings, thatched cottages and the road to Nowhere. Nearby wineries include McGregor Winery next door, Lord’s, Bemind and Tanagra. Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve lies close by.
