Silver Hill Lodge provides Bed & Breakfast and Camp-site accommodation within a 400-hectare nature reserve in the Kamberg Valley mountains of the Central Drakensberg. It serves nature enthusiasts with access to hiking trails, dams, and wetlands.

Silver Hill Lodge offers Bed & Breakfast and Camp-site accommodation. The lodge is within Vulture's Peak Reserve, which has five dams, a wetland, its own mountain, and natural forest. Trails lead through these areas.

Facilities

Guests can have a picnic and sundowners by the banks of the river at the cosy bar. The river gushes over rocks into rock pools. In summer, there is a spot for a quick dip to cool off and swim. Trails cover the wetlands and estate.

Location & Surroundings

The lodge is in the Kamberg Valley mountains of the Central Drakensberg, within Vulture's Peak Reserve. Endangered Bearded Vultures nest in cliffs above and are regularly seen. Day trips go to Sani Pass, Kamberg Rock Art Centre, Highmoor nature reserve. Hiking, bird watching, stargazing, mountain biking, cycling occur nearby.
