Location & Surroundings

There are visits to museums such as the Simons Town Museum as well as the SA Naval Museum. Walks and hikes to historical monuments and buildings for you to explore and experience the town's unique character. Jubilee Square is a favorite hub of activity with curio shops, local crafts, and markets and is home to the statue of the famous Great Dane, Able Seaman Just Nuisance. Fill your days with a peaceful morning kayak to view the penguins, picnic on sandy beaches, take an afternoon swim or even take part in fishing and water sport activities. Bicycle hire is also available in the town. Simons Town is known for spotting whales as well as dolphins, seals, and possibly wild otters in the bay. You can enjoy watching the yachts, fishing boats, and the South African Navy vessels from the comfort of your apartment. The most popular attraction is our very own unique Penguin Colony, a short distance from the main road where the penguins are known to swim amongst the bathers at Boulders Beach. Cape Point is a mere 22km away, so come and enjoy our beautiful accommodation and little coastal town – we have so much to offer!
