Strawberry Hill Farm offers three self-catering accommodation units in the Grootvadersbosch countryside near Swellendam and Heidelberg, at the start of the Garden Route.

Three self-catering houses: Strawberry Hill Lodge (4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, sleeps 9, fireplaces in each bedroom), Forest Lodge (3-bedroom lodge sleeping 6, fully equipped kitchen, large fireplace), and Jenny’s Cottage (1-bedroom forest cottage with king-size bed, sleeps 3).

Facilities

Fully equipped kitchens, indoor and outdoor braai, linen, towels and basic supplies provided. Forest Lodge and Jenny’s Cottage share a small natural swimming pool; farm dam nearby. Strawberry Hill Lodge has internal bike storage and a farm dam with deck.

Location & Surroundings

In the Grootvadersbosch Conservancy, bordering Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve. Near Swellendam and Heidelberg at the start of the Garden Route. About 3 hours from Cape Town and 2 hours from George. MTB trails of about 120 km, hiking, trail running and birding.
