The Struishuis is a family friendly self-catering home that is centrally located in a peaceful area in Struisbaai, with great sea views.

Ideal for a family holiday or a group of friends, this home can accommodate up to 8 guests and contains 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms each contain a double bed. The third bedroom contains a double bed and an additional single bed. The fourth bedroom contains 6 single beds, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bathroom is shared by the other three bedrooms, and has a bath and a shower.

The kitchen, dining and living area are open-plan. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. The cosy lounge features a TV, seating and a fireplace. The dining area has a large dining table and seating. Outside, there is a covered patio with a concrete picnic bench, and upstairs there is a deck with lovely sea views.

The property is pet friendly, so you can bring your fur children with you. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available. Free parking is provided on the premises.

Location & Surroundings

Struisbaai is two hours South from Cape Town, located in the Overberg region of the Western Cape. The town is an old fishing village which for many years sported a beautiful natural harbour. Some development has taken place since then but Struisbaai is still relatively untouched and not overdeveloped. Many fishermen still reside in this settlement but it is now known better for its leisure activities. There is a diverse range of activities on offer in this small town, which include fishing, horse riding, hiking, paintball, quad biking and diving.

Struisbaai also hosts the annual Geelstertfees (Yellowtail festival) revolving around food stalls, artists and musical performers.

There are many restaurants on offer to suit every visitors budget.
