About

Sunset Lodge in St Lucia offers self-catering log cabin accommodation on the banks of the St Lucia Estuary in iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site.

Accommodation

Eight fully equipped self-catering log cabins with wooden decks for sunset views, air-conditioning, TV/M-Net, and a private patio. Cabins are serviced daily. Layout: one five-sleeper, four four-sleepers (one with estuary view), and three two-sleepers.

Facilities

Crystal-clear swimming pool overlooking the estuary, with views of boats, hippos, crocodiles and fish eagles. Solar power with backup for loadshedding. Cabins are fully equipped for self-catering and serviced daily, with air-conditioning and TV/M-Net.

Location & Surroundings

Quieter end of town, walking distance to shops, restaurants and amenities. About 25 km from Mtubatuba along the R618. On the banks of the St Lucia Estuary in iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Frequent hippo on the lawn. Game reserves, night drives, deep-sea fishing, bird viewing, whale watching, and hippo and crocodile tours.
