The Raz offers guests a unique experience of luxury and comfort in an ultra-modern boutique guesthouse, conveniently situated in Harrismith on the foothills of the Platberg mountain which is an ideal halfway stop between Johannesburg and Durban on the famous N3 route.

The guesthouse is the perfect choice for an overnight stay or as a base to enjoy the nearby Drakensburg, Clarens, Sterkfontein Dam and other attractions and offers guests lovely, air-conditioned rooms that can accommodate between 2 to 4 people.

All the rooms are uniquely decorated and furnished exquisitely with luxurious linen, furniture and comfortable queen-size, double and single beds. The modern bathrooms are fitted with baths, large luxurious walk-in showers, heated towel rails, and bathroom heaters. Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms.

The Raz is situated in an upmarket and friendly residential area with amazing mountain views and quick access to hiking and mountain biking trails. The neighbourhood is pin-drop silent and relaxing it is safe to walk at any time. Harrismith is a small town and is relatively easy to get around as long as you mind the potholes. The Spar shopping complex, Harrismith country club and the Platberg Nature Reserve are all within walking distance from the property. The famous Bergview complex offers a wide variety of restaurants.
