Tranquillity is located in the beautiful Central Drakensberg. Providing a peaceful, spacious, and tranquil self-catering farm stay. It was created as a space for friends & family to get away and escape. Enjoy this modern & spacious home away from home nestled in the Champagne Valley.

The Willow Cottage:

The Willow Cottage is for a small family (2 adults and 2 children). Enjoy 360-degree views of the mountains and get the rest the farm offers. This cottage has everything that you need for the perfect getaway and is conveniently located close to hiking trails, restaurants, and the many attractions that the Central Drakensberg has to offer!

The Willow Cottage is a one-bedroom cottage that boasts a comfy queen-sized bed, a single day bed & extra mattress for a family with 2 small children. The bathroom is en suite and is fitted with both a shower and a bath. The space offers a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with a fireplace, 2 verandas, braai and bonfire facilities, and a shaded parking area. Located on a farm with beautiful scenery, including 3 dams and a few friendly farm animals, cats and dogs.

Guests will have exclusive access to their cottage, including a private braai and bonfire area. The Willow Cottage provides a private space for maximum rest. Guests are welcome to go for walks on the farm, visit the dams, and use the Jungle Gym/kids' play area. Kids must please be supervised at all times.

The Strelitzia Cottage:

Experience the charm of farm life at Strelitzia Cottage. This elegant self-catering retreat accommodates five guests and showcases stunning panoramic views. The interior boasts a thoughtful layout featuring a gourmet-ready kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a spacious living room equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi.

The sleeping quarters include a primary queen bedroom and a secondary twin room with an additional sofa bed. After a day in the sun, unwind in the large private gardens or retreat to the bathroom's deep soaking tub.

Please note our slice of heaven is surrounded by working farms, and with that comes farm animals, tractor noises, and often some related smells. Insects are part of enjoying nature, so please keep the doors & windows closed if the insects "bug" you! We are also affected by load shedding, but we try our very best to make the accommodation comfortable throughout. Location & Surroundings

The cottage and farmhouse are located on Tranquillity Farm in the beautiful Central Drakensberg.

Cathkin Park or Champagne Valley, which is not a valley, but a broader community of the Central Drakensberg in South Africa, is an epicentre of adventure tourism. This area is one of the most popular and must-see regions of the Drakensberg. Cathkin Park is a suburb of the village of Winterton, which is some 30 kilometres away from the centre of this magnificent valley. Additionally, it is an essential section of the Okhahlamba Local Municipality.

The Central Berg is particularly famous for its many challenging golf courses. Champagne Sports Resort boasts a full 18-hole championship golf course played beneath the Cathkin Range; Monk's Cowl Country Club and Cathedral Peak Hotel feature 9-hole courses; and the Drakensberg Sun has a chip-and-putt course.
