South Africa's largest private reserve spans 118,000 hectares across the southern Kalahari with three luxury camps offering exclusive wildlife experiences and authentic hospitality.

Accommodation

The reserve features three accommodation options: The Motse with nine suites overlooking an active waterhole, Loapi Tented Camp with six villa-style homes under canvas, each with private plunge pools and kitchens, and Tarkuni Homestead, an exclusive-use property with five en-suite bedrooms and dedicated chef.

Facilities

Facilities vary by accommodation. The Motse has two communal pools, a gym, and photographic studio with lens hire. All camps offer the Tswalu Spa. Private safari vehicles with guides and trackers are included. Dining includes Klein JAN restaurant and Boscia House. All stays include meals, snacks, and South African wines.

Location & Surroundings

On the southern Kalahari in Northern Cape, the malaria-free reserve features rolling dunes and Korannaberg mountains. Charter flights: 90 minutes to Johannesburg, 2 hours to Cape Town. Over 80 mammal species live here, including black-maned lions and desert black rhinos. Activities include game drives, walks, horse riding, and rock art.
