About

Tupelo Honey Experience is forest accommodation on a self-built mountain farm in the Magoebaskloof Valley, Limpopo, about 400 km and 4 hours from Johannesburg.

Accommodation

Cottages The Herb Cottage, Frida’s View and Olivia’s Secret offer private forest stays. Camp and glamping sites include Coral Tree Campsite, Forest Camp and Bird Song. Guest lodgings are in converted stables. Campsites need 4×4 access, including off-road trailers.

Facilities

On the farm: herb picking, a Glass Art Studio, and walking trails. Activities include hiking along rivers and mountains, plus nature and birdwatching. Strong nature focus with forest, birds, monkeys and rivers.

Location & Surroundings

In the Magoebaskloof Valley, Limpopo, on mountain slopes with avocado orchards, about 400 km and 4 hours north-east of Johannesburg via Polokwane and the R71 towards Tzaneen, past Haenertsburg. Final approach is about 2.5 km on dirt road. Forest, rivers, mountains and wildlife nearby.
