Directions to Tutwa Desert Lodge

Located approximately 1 hour drive from Augrabies Falls in the Green Kalahari region. The last 45km is an unpaved dirt road with sporadic mobile reception. Gate access hours are 14:00–20:00 only. Early arrivals before 14:00 without prior arrangement incur a R750 per person charge with no room access. Late arrivals after 20:00 not recommended due to gate closure. SUV recommended; 4x4 not necessary. Road transfers available from Upington airport. Light aircraft access via on-site 1200m gravel runway; AVGAS available at nearby Dundi Lodge.
