Vensterklip Guest Farm provides farm-style self-catering accommodation on Verlorenvlei, a World Heritage area on the Cape West Coast, 220 km north of Cape Town and 5 km from Elands Bay.

Accommodation

Self-catering cottages sleep 2–8, including Fish Eagle Cottage, Left Break Cottage, Pelican Cottage, Robertson Huys, Scott House, and Louw’s Manor House. Larger houses suit groups. Private campsites, Flip Flop Backpackers, and Bloed Voet Backpackers are also available. Cottages are rustic and spacious with lake views.

Facilities

On-site facilities include a restaurant (The Tin Kitchen) with West Coast-style cuisine and Friday night stone-baked pizza, Die Rooi Stoor Padstal, a swimming pool, and an events venue with a modern lapa, bar and kitchen. Old Dirkie’s Pub offers drinks and coffee. Campsites have ablutions, kitchens and braais.

Location & Surroundings

Verlorenvlei is a World Heritage area on the Cape West Coast, about 220 km north of Cape Town and 5 km from Elands Bay. Nearby options include bird watching, surfing and swimming at Elands Bay, the Crayfish Trail, San rock art, Verlorenvlei Estuary, and the West Coast Way.
