Verlorenkloof Estate offers accommodation in 23 self-catering stone and thatch crofts on a 1600 ha farm in Mpumalanga’s trout triangle.

Accommodation

The 23 self-catering crofts are stone and thatch houses in 3-, 4- or 5-bedroom configurations, mostly en-suite and fully equipped. Each accommodates up to 10 guests and is available on a single or shared basis. The lodge serves as the primary event and conference venue.

Facilities

Foodspace Restaurant and Deli serves breakfast and lunch. The Foodspace Deli and Coffee Shop offers farm produce and seasonal a la carte menu options. The lodge includes a library, small gallery, gift shop and TV room with DSTV and free Wi-Fi. Fountain-fed rock pools and river picnic sites are available.

Location & Surroundings

Verlorenkloof Estate is a 1600 ha property in Mpumalanga’s trout triangle with 42 km of marked hiking trails through five eco-zones and 8 km of the upper Crocodile River. Nearby attractions include Dullstroom for day trips and escarpment and Lowveld sites. Mountain views are visible from the verandah.
