Xaro Lodge is a lodge on the banks of the Okavango River in the Okavango Delta offering accommodation in Meru tents.

Accommodation

Xaro Lodge features nine riverfront Meru tents on wooden decks with private verandas and en-suite bathrooms. Standard double-bedded tents have desk, sitting area and river-view veranda. The king-bedded honeymoon suite includes private garden, balcony, lounge and minibar. Family units consist of two tents on a shared deck.

Facilities

Xaro Lodge has a swimming pool, spa treatments, WiFi, laundry services, library, lounge, restaurant, bar, outdoor barbecue grills, riverside firepit and curio shop. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day and meals are provided three times daily with South African wines.

Location & Surroundings

Xaro Lodge lies 350 km from Maun and 40 km from the Mohembo border post with Namibia. It is a boat-access-only island on a 45-hectare property in the Okavango Panhandle of northern Botswana within the UNESCO World Heritage Okavango Delta. Access is by boat from Samochima Village or Shakawe Airport.
