The perfect stopover when enroute to Botswana, Namibia and to Cape Town. Not far from Kimberley, the diamond centre of South Africa. Situated in the small town of Warrenton, 70 km north of Kimberley with the N12 passing through. Only 570 km from Pretoria and 1020 km from Cape Town this is the ideal stopover when driving to the North or the south of the country. The N12 is much better to drive anyway! We are also on the route from Botswana and Namibia. These unique 3 cottages are on the banks of the beautiful Vaal River. Stay one night or stay for a week! With a calm and peaceful farm atmosphere, one can really relax with your choice of drink while hearing only birds sing while watching beautiful sunsets. With a few swings and large lawn, the children can keep themselves busy. The river is fenced off and the property is protected with high fencing and a motorized gate. Warrenton is a very safe town. If you want to try your hand at fishing, you will find Barbel, Carp and Yellowfish. Under supervision, the children can swim in the river. Just wear some shoes. Bring your mountain bike, for long safe gravel roads. If you are a keen biker, we have the best gravel roads just around the corner. We are also keen bikers, so we can assist with planning your trip for the day or a week. In the area is also a lot of hunting opportunities.
