Although we do not have any of the Big 5 in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, with the exception of the Leopard, the Estate boasts with an abundance of wildlife such as Zebra, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Warthog, Nyala, Kudu, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Duiker, Leopard, Jackal, various birdlife and more. From the neighbouring Big 5Game Farms we get occasional Hyena and Wilddog visits, and from the Look Out Deck you can sometimes see the Elephant roaming just across the road. At night the bush comes to life, and while you enjoy the boma fire you can listen to the territorial roar of the Lion and the call of the Hyena, the chuckle of the Jackal and the rustling of the Porcupine.
