Addo African Home is eco lodge accommodation next to Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa, for families, nature lovers and adventurers focused on fair-trade tourism.

Accommodation

Rooms include Deluxe, Deluxe Family and Standard Rondavels and Lodge Double, Triple and Quadruple rooms in African–French style with modern comforts. Traditional Xhosa-style rondavels sit in a citrus and banana garden, with en-suite shower and separate toilet. The Lodge is a renovated farmhouse. Deluxe Family Rondavel sleeps 4.

Facilities

Molo Lolo Restaurant serves African cuisine with a French touch using home-grown organic garden produce, with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Facilities include a natural chemical-free swimming pool, picnic baskets for game drives, massages on request, private functions, a braai set on request, and airport transfers.

Location & Surroundings

The property is next to Addo Elephant National Park, about a 5-minute drive away, South Africa’s third-largest game reserve. Full-day and half-day game drives with ranger guides cover the Big 5. The Greater Addo area combines mountain, sand dunes, river and ocean scenery, with Zuurberg Mountain hikes available.
