Self-catering bush camp accommodation in the Balule Nature Reserve, Greater Kruger National Park, with five en-suite bedrooms, exclusive use, and a private photography hide at a waterhole.

Accommodation

Five en-suite bedrooms accommodate a maximum of eight guests on an exclusive-use basis. Three rooms have twin or king beds, one has a double bed, and a fifth room has bunk beds. The fourth and fifth rooms share a bathroom and form a family room. Air-conditioning and indoor and outdoor showers are included.

Facilities

Facilities include a plunge pool and free Wi-Fi. The Umgede photography hide is equipped with comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, USB and 240V charging ports, gimbals, bean bags, and mounting bars. Game drives in an open Land Rover, guided birding, and morning game walks are available. Full-catering can be arranged on request.

Location & Surroundings

The camp sits within the Balule Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park, with over 7,500 hectares of traversing area and over 10km of river frontage. The Big 5 and over 300 bird species are present. The Umgede hide overlooks a waterhole regularly visited by elephant herds.
