Desert Dew Guesthouse offers accommodation on historic Modderfontein farm in the Karoo, a working farm operated by the Marais family since 1939 with six air-conditioned suites and three self-catering units.

Accommodation

Accommodation consists of six air-conditioned suites in the main guesthouse and three self-catering units in the converted Vellenwaenhuis. Themed rooms include the Mohair room with super king size bed and the Elephant room with super king size bed and two single beds.

Facilities

Facilities include a fitness centre with fully equipped gym, the on-site Desert Kitchen and restaurant serving rustic slow food using seasonal locally sourced ingredients, yoga workshops and retreats, hiking and mountain biking trails, bird-watching and star-gazing. Vellenwaenhuis units have secluded braai areas. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities.
