Elephant House is family-run lodge accommodation in the Sundays River Valley near Addo Elephant National Park, with a Main House and Stable Cottages.

Accommodation

Main House has 8 en-suite bedrooms in a thatched farmhouse with verandahs, antiques and local art. Stable Cottages: 6 Cape-style cottages with private stoeps on five acres; family units sleep up to four. All beds king or twin extra length; air-conditioned and heated.

Facilities

Three swimming pools, verandahs, gardens and fireplaces. Free Wi-Fi throughout. Farm-to-table breakfast and lunch daily; wine bar with Cape wines. Stable Cottages have full kitchens and braai areas. Laundry, valet, babysitting and transfers on request.

Location & Surroundings

Malaria-free lodge in the Sundays River Valley, 8 km from the main entrance to Addo Elephant National Park and under an hour from Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). Easy access to private reserves including Kwandwe, Shamwari, Kariega, Amakhala, Schotia and Pumba. Golf about 30 minutes away.
