Directions to Elephant Plains Game Lodge

Accessible only via Gowrie Gate (not Newington Gate or Shaws Gate). The final 20km is a dirt road requiring approximately 45 minutes of driving. Gowrie Gate is open 05:00–23:00. Private chartered flights may land on the lodge's 1200m gravel airstrip. Approximate travel times: 7 hours from Johannesburg, 2.5–3 hours from Nelspruit/KMIA, 1.5 hours from Hoedspruit/Eastgate Airport, 1 hour from Kruger Orpen Gate. Road conditions may add up to 2 hours to travel times, particularly during the rainy season (December–March).
