Elephant Plains Game Lodge is owner-run Big 5 safari accommodation in the northern Sabi Sand Game Reserve, next to unfenced Kruger National Park, for a maximum of 24 guests.

Accommodation

Rondavels, Luxury Suites, and the Manyeleti Honeymoon Suite. Luxury Suites are glass-fronted, open-plan with lounge, double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and private viewing deck overlooking the riverbed. The Honeymoon Suite has a private splash pool. Five Rondavels in landscaped gardens have sundecks.

Facilities

Main lodge has reception, dining areas, lounge, bar, wine cellar, curio shop, and small library. Guests share two swimming pools, a gym, and games room. Dining covers international cuisine and South African specialities, with dinner in the open-air boma. All meals included.

Location & Surroundings

The lodge sits in the northern Sabi Sand Game Reserve next to Kruger National Park, unfenced. It overlooks the dry Manyeleti riverbed, open bush and a watering hole, near the Sabi and Sand Rivers. Access is only via Gowrie Gate. Two daily game drives and a post-breakfast bush walk are offered.
