Directions
Fisaasbos is 13km outside of Tulbagh, on the Winterhoek valley road.
Entering Tulbagh from Cape Town via Nuwekloof Pass, turn left into the main drag, Van der Stel Street.
If youre coming from Bainskloof via Wolseley, youll enter town on Van der Stel Street.
Pass through town and continue along this road, passing the Dutch Reformed Church (right) and then the Showgrounds (left).
Approximately 4km out of town theres a fork in the road.
You will notice the Drostdy on your right, but keep to the left.
Approximately 10km out of town theres a second fork in the road, showing Misgund right.
Keep left for Winterhoek. Another couple of kms and the road starts narrowing. You should notice a Cul de Sac sign.. but keep going and slow now please until the road (still tarred all the way) takes a sudden dive through the Gaatjie. As you emerge from the dive, keep left (still) and follow the small Fisaasbos sign up the steep-ish gravel road. Less than 1km up youll arrive at your destination.
