Durban: ~250 km / ~2.5 hours via N2 north (from King Shaka Airport, follow signs to N2; past Empangeni, Richards Bay, Mtubatuba to Hluhluwe off-ramp). Johannesburg via Ermelo: ~700 km / ~7 hours — N17 via Springs/Bethal to Ermelo, then N2 via Piet Retief, Pongola and Mkuze; Hluhluwe off-ramp is 55 km from Mkuze. Swaziland (Lavumisa border): ~110 km from the border — 5 km then left onto N2 south; past Jozini Dam and Mkuze; Hluhluwe off-ramp 55 km from Mkuze. Turn left off the freeway and through town.
