Kosi Forest Lodge provides accommodation in six Forest Rooms and two Family Rooms on raised platforms in the sand forest at Kosi Bay within the UNESCO-listed iSimangaliso Wetland Park.

Accommodation

Six Forest Rooms and two Family Rooms on raised wooden platforms under natal fig or milkwood trees each have tented sides, thatch roof, private deck, indoor shower, outdoor bathroom boma, mosquito nets, wall-mounted fans, safe, tea and coffee facilities and mini-bar. Twin rooms convert to double. Capacity is 20 guests.

Facilities

Facilities include swimming pool with sun loungers overlooking the estuary, bird hide, main lodge with lounge, dining room and bar on wooden decks, 24/7 tea and coffee station, bar, forest boma, outdoor dining, oil-lamp lit paths and turndown service. Laundry and WiFi in the main lounge are available.

Location & Surroundings

Kosi Forest Lodge is set in the sand forest at Kosi Bay, the northern gateway to the UNESCO-listed iSimangaliso Wetland Park in South Africa's last unexplored wetland wilderness. The lodge is within the Kosi Bay lake system. 4x4 transfers from Manguzi take 25 minutes. Johannesburg is approximately 8 hours away.
