Directions to Makweti Safari Lodge

Typically accessed via three-hour shuttle service from Johannesburg airport or hotel to the reserve main gate, followed by 30-minute safari vehicle transfer on bush roads to the lodge. Self-drivers can reach the reserve via the N1 national roadway on well-maintained tar surfaces suitable for standard rental sedans or hatchbacks. Vehicles are parked in the secure main gate compound, after which guests are transferred to the lodge by safari vehicle. Private light-aircraft flights can be arranged on request.
