About

National Heritage Nature Park is self-catering accommodation in the Kamberg Valley, at the foot of Mount Lebanon, sharing a boundary with the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site. Three cottages each sleep up to 8 adults.

Accommodation

Three luxury 8-sleeper self-catering cottages are available: Eland, Reedbuck, and Oribi. Each has two double bedrooms (one en-suite), two bathrooms, and a third bedroom with either four bunk beds or four single beds. Reedbuck features a loft room and large wooden deck. All cottages have an open-plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge.

Facilities

Each cottage has a covered verandah or deck with a Weber braai, a fireplace with firewood provided, and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. Crockery, cutlery, bed linen, and bath towels are provided. Property facilities include a swimming pool, tennis court, cricket net, games room, and canoeing on the dam.

Location & Surroundings

The park sits in the Kamberg Valley and shares a boundary with the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site. Nottingham Road is one hour away. Nearby attractions include Kamberg, Highmoor, and Giants Castle Nature Reserves, the Midlands Meander, an 18-hole golf course at Gowrie, and Kamberg and Giants Castle rock art sites.
