Directions to National Heritage Nature Park

Single mountain lodge in the Kamberg valley (Giants Castle / P-19 route via Mooi River). Do not rely on GPS; use the marked dirt-road route. Approach via Giants Castle road; expect potholes after ~23 km — drive slowly. Bio-security vehicle spray against Foot & Mouth disease is required at the spray-station before the final approach. Turn onto D-11 dirt road, then left at the gate signed "ORIBI Conservation and National Heritage"; lodge is 2.2 km up the mountain from the gate. From Durban/Pietermaritzburg: N3 to Mooi River Plaza offramp, then Giants Castle / P-19. From Johannesburg: N3 Exit 146 (Mooi Toll), then same Giants Castle / P-19 route.
