Accommodation
Twelve individually decorated wooden and brick cottages for two guests. All have en-suite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens. Some feature indoor fireplaces, natural-rock outdoor showers, or corner Jacuzzi and jet baths. Each unit has a braai area and thatch lapa. Two budget bachelor cottages sit apart from the main village.
Facilities
Three shared pools with shady thatch lapas, landscaped gardens and lawns. Laundry and cottage cleaning available at extra cost. Safe trails along dam and river, plus hiking. Units include flat-screen TV with DSTV and covered parking. Mid-week day breaks available.
Location & Surroundings
Near Magaliesburg in the Magaliesberg. Base for Cradle of Humankind, Maropeng, Sterkfontein and Wonder Caves, game reserves, Magaliesberg hikes and Hartebeespoort Dam. Magaliesburg town has shops, butchery, bottle stores and pharmacies. Access is via a 1.5 km sand road suitable for a small car.
