The multi-storey house opens onto 2 covered decks with views and comprises 4 bedrooms with 3 overlooking the lagoon but only takes bookings for up to 6 people. It also has 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and 2 lounge areas. Two of the rooms contain a queen-size bed while the other 2 rooms are furnished with 2 single beds. Two bathrooms have showers, and the third offers a bath and shower.
On the ground floor, the fully equipped kitchen features a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and tea and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. The upstairs lounge is comfortably furnished with a TV, a selection of DVDs, and a DStv connection but guests are required to bring their own DStv decoder, smart card, remote, and cables.
Oku Yama enjoys a private feel without being isolated and is serviced daily. The outside braai area offers great respite from the wind during the summer months, and the deck has an inviting pool. Secure parking is available.
