Old Rearsby is self-catering farm retreat accommodation in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands near Mooi River, with five private cottages and Drakensberg mountain views in a quiet countryside setting.

Accommodation

Five private cottages with private entrances, king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms, living space with couch, and fresh linens and towels. Selected cottages have a fireplace and well-equipped kitchenette. Mooi, Bushman, Umgeni, Inzinga, and Berg sleep two, with Inzinga and Berg also for two children.

Facilities

Complimentary Wi-Fi. En-suite bathrooms. Selected kitchenettes have a 2-plate gas stove, microwave, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, cutlery and crockery. Fireplaces in selected cottages. Scenic walks on site. Horses, Nguni cattle, and guinea fowl on the farm. Children and pets welcome. Breakfast and dinner available.

Location & Surroundings

In the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, Mooi River area, on a historic 100-year-old farm neighbouring Hartford House. Drakensberg mountain views and sunset views toward Giant's Castle. Open countryside over green fields and hills. Base for Midlands trails, waterfalls, and nearby villages. Stopover between Pretoria and Ballito.
