Location & Surroundings

Marloth Park is a one-of-a-kind wildlife conservancy and holiday town tucked away on the southern border of the Kruger National Park. What makes it truly special is that there are no internal fences, allowing animals like kudu, zebra, giraffe, and warthogs to roam freely between the houses. You might even find a curious ostrich or a family of impala visiting your garden while you have your morning coffee. The park is separated from the Kruger by the Crocodile River, where you can take a sunset stroll along the fence to spot elephants, hippos, and even lions across the water. It is a peaceful, "slow-living" destination where you can trade city noises for the call of a Fish Eagle or the grunt of a hippo. While it feels wonderfully wild, it remains convenient for self-catering guests, with local shops, a fuel station, and several "bush pubs" and restaurants right inside the park.
