Directions to Optibos

Getting from O.R. Tambo to 531 or 535 Sparrow Road, Marloth Park is a straightforward drive, usually taking just over 5 hours. Keep some change or your e-tag handy for the tolls!

1. Exit the Airport: Head toward Exit 46 for about 50m, use the ramp onto Jones Road (750m), and then merge onto the R21 (550m). This first bit is quick, roughly 1.4 km.
2. Get onto the N12: Stay on the R21 for 3.6 km, then take exit 429A to merge onto the N12 toward eMalahleni (Witbank). You'll be on this road for a good stretch of 112 km.
3. Merge onto the N4: The N12 will merge into the N4. Follow this for 111 km, then continue as it becomes the N4/R36 for another 4.8 km before taking the exit toward the R36 (600m).
4. Take the scenic R539 detour: Follow the R36 for 15.3 km, which then becomes the R539. Stay on the R539 for 45.2 km. This is a great shortcut that eventually loops you back onto the N4 via the ramp.
5. The final long stretch: Merge back onto the N4 and settle in for about 116 km (roughly an hour and a half) as you head toward the Kruger area.
6. Enter Marloth Park: Turn left onto Olifant Drive and follow it for 8.2 km. Turn left onto Maroela Road (140m), and then take your first left onto Sparrow Road. Drive about 400m, and you'll arrive at 531 Sparrow Road.
