Accommodation
Sleeps 20+. Two en-suite self-catering cottages share a verandah overlooking the village and Indian Ocean; each has two bedrooms (one double, two singles), open-plan kitchen, fridge/freezer, garden and braai. Also rondawels, bungalows, a thatched dormitory rondawel, The Cabin, and camping.
Facilities
Rain-harvested drinking water and borehole water for kitchens and bathrooms. Eskom power with limited generator backup; candles and small solar lights provided. Books, DVDs, puzzles, craft kits, wood-fired oven, rock gardens, and the Sao Bento shipwreck memorial on site.
Location & Surroundings
On the hills above Ndengane at the Msikaba River mouth, roughly midway between Port Edward and Port St Johns. About 40 km from Lusikisiki. Msikaba Vulture Colony just over 1 km; Mkambathi Nature Reserve across the Msikaba; Mtentu River about 10 km north.

Directions
About 40 km from Lusikisiki via the R61, then a one-way gravel road (one way in, one way out). Landmark: Protea Ridge cellphone mast. By car from Durban: ~5 hours; tar almost all the way; final ~40 km from Lusikisiki is dirt road (~30–40 km/h, just over an hour); doable in a small hire car when dry.
