Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is malaria-free private game reserve accommodation in the Little Karoo outside Montagu, Western Cape, with three lodges and a Big Five safari experience.

Three lodges: Dwyka Tented Lodge has 9 private luxury tents with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers and private decks with heated plunge pools. Gondwana Family Lodge has 12 suites with decks or balconies. Tilney Manor has six open-plan suites with private verandas. Rooms sleep maximum two adults.

Facilities

Rates include two daily nature drives, guided wilderness walks and all meals. Facilities include complimentary Wi-Fi, lounges with fireplace and satellite TV, open-air dining bomas, gift boutiques and Relaxation Retreat. Location & Surroundings

In the Little Karoo outside Montagu, Western Cape, about a 3–3.5 hour drive from Cape Town along Route 62, or about 270 km from Cape Town. The 62,000-hectare reserve sits at the foot of the Warmwaterberg Mountains. The Welcome Lounge is 15 km inside the main gate.
