Star Dam Lodges offers self-catering accommodation in five lodges at Star Dam Estate in the Midlands Meander area with on-site activities and dam views.

Accommodation

Five self-catering lodges sleep 6 to 12 guests. Ingleford Lodge has two en-suite bedrooms, one with a king-size extra-length bed and one dorm-style room with four single beds. Lodges feature open-plan kitchens, lounges with fireplaces, en-suite bathrooms, and wooden decks with dam views.

Facilities

Backup generators and daily room servicing are provided at all lodges along with linen and fully equipped self-catering kitchens. Small fishing boat rental is available. On-site activities include nature walks, birding, catch-and-release trout fishing, MTB trails and boating. No restaurants, bars, pools or function venues are on site.

Location & Surroundings

The estate lies in the Midlands Meander area in the iNhlosane mountain range. Nearby are Tillietudlem Nature Reserve 1 km, Inhlosane Hill hikes 16 km, Piggly Wiggly, Highgate Wine Estate and St Ives Boma 36 km, Nelson Mandela Capture Site and Museum 39 km and Karkloof Canopy Tours 67 km.
