Accommodation
Two accommodation options: 8 thatched chalets with ethnic and colonial décor at Elephant Safari Lodge, or 8 luxury tents (including a family tent) at Luxury Tented Camp. Tents feature private viewing decks, fans, mosquito nets, and ensuite bathrooms with Victorian baths and outdoor showers.
Facilities

The reserve is in Zululand, 2 hours from Durban and 1 hour from Richards Bay, on the historic hunting grounds of King Shaka. St. Lucia Estuary, Hluhluwe Umfolozi for Big 5 viewing, Zulu villages, and Indian Ocean beaches are nearby.
