About

Waterford Manor is a B&B and self-catering accommodation on a 10-hectare property along the Mooi River, just outside the village of Rosetta in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. It is 8km from Nottingham Road and 12km from Mooi River.

Accommodation

B&B suites include Tamarind with a queen-size bed and large bathroom, Hibiscus with a double bed and paved garden patio, and Jasmine, a thatched cottage with a king-size bed and two 3/4 beds. Self-catering cottages Lavender and Sunflower have fireplaces, kitchens and braai areas. All units have DSTV, heaters and electric blankets.

Facilities

The property has a swimming pool, wooden deck, braai lapa and sun deck overlooking the Mooi River. Free WiFi is available in most rooms. Guests have access to daily housekeeping, parking on site, cots, security guards on weekends and dinner by request. A full English breakfast is served for B&B guests.

Location & Surroundings

The property has 700 metres of Mooi River frontage with fly fishing and picnicking spots, and walking trails through indigenous forest. Views extend toward the Drakensberg. Nearby activities include golf courses, horse riding, forest canopy tours and hot-air ballooning. A wine cellar next door, established in 1996, stocks over 2,000 wine labels.

Protea suite is a luxurious room perfect for a couple's getaway. It is river facing and has the most amazing view of rolling green hills and the mountains in the distance. The room has a free standing shower as well as its own bath tub. No stove.
