Directions to Yzer Beach & Boat House
Directions
From Cape Town International Airport:
1. Start by exiting the airport and following the signs for the N2 highway towards Cape Town. This initial drive is about 15-20 km.
2. Stay on the N2 for a short while, then take the M7 (Vanguard Drive) exit. The sign will indicate "Goodwood/Epping".
3. Continue on the M7 for a few kilometres until you reach the N1 highway. The signs will direct you towards Paarl. Merge onto the N1.
4. Follow the N1 for about 10 km. Look for the R27 (West Coast Road) exit. This is a very important turn, so keep an eye out for the signs.
5. Take the R27 exit and turn left. You will now be heading north along the beautiful West Coast. Enjoy the scenic drive! This part of the journey is approximately 70 km.
6. Stay on the R27 until you see the turn-off for Yzerfontein (the R315). It's a clearly marked exit to your left.
7. Take the Yzerfontein turn-off and continue for about 8 km.
8. You'll enter the town of Yzerfontein. Keep going straight on this road, which is called Main Road.
9. Turn right onto 1st Avenue, and then take the first left onto Mossel Street.
10. Number 1 Mossel Street will be on your left-hand side.
