Once humble farmworker homes, the cottages have been magically restored, preserving historic character while adding modern comforts. Established in 1882, the farm embraces the wabi-sabi spirit, finding beauty in simplicity and imperfection. We offer five self-catering units: two with two bedrooms (one double and one single), one spacious three-bedroom unit (all doubles), and two with two double bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. All cottages feature original wood-burning fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens with 2-plate gas stoves and air fryers, and an open-plan dining and lounge area with TV. The cottages share a long stoep with dining tables, overlooking mountains and farmland, the perfect spot to enjoy Karoo sunsets with a drink in hand while sheep nibble on the soutbos. Each cottage has a private entrance, and all units are situated next to each other. Strictly no access behind the building, as the showers have windows for you to enjoy nature while showering. We have dogs and sheep roaming freely on the farm, and also kids running around. Please drive slowly.
