Location & Surroundings
The Ceres Karoo location, 2.5 hours from Cape Town, is malaria-free and remote. The 10,000-hectare reserve represents one of the Western Cape's oldest wildlife sanctuaries. Wildlife includes the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, plus giraffe, zebra, eland, gemsbok, hippo, and over 150 bird species.
