That said, its position along the N3 and M7 routes gives visitors easy access to a wide range of attractions in the greater Durban area.
The suburb is made up of several smaller neighbourhoods including Malvern, Escombe, Moorton, and Bellair. Each has its own character, though the overall feel is residential and low-key. Local amenities include shopping centres, schools, and community parks, which makes the area practical for longer stays where self-catering is preferred.
